lolMiner is a special program for mining. It supports a wide range of cryptocurrency algorithms on video cards. Among the most popular are Ethash, Etchash, Beam, Cuckoo Cycle, and Equihash.

The program is based on OpenCL and was initially aimed at mining using AMD video cards. But at the moment, lolMiner supports mining on Nvidia video cards and using mixed AMD and Nvidia configurations. The lolMiner miner provides a full range of options for cryptocurrency mining professionals. The most useful features include the following:

  • Automatic watchdog timer. The program allows you to configure custom event-based triggers, as well as hardware watchdog timers. This will improve the performance and stability of the farms.
  • Optimization of overclocking parameters. The user can improve the operation of the farm by using overclocking parameters, reduced frequency, and reduced voltage for video cards. To do this, use –cclk to edit the clock frequency of the Nvidia Turing core, as well as new graphics processors, without using external tools.

How to install the lolMiner program correctly

This program is designed for advanced users. To activate the mining process, you need to follow a short instruction:

  1. Download the program. Download the latest version to your PC (if mining occurs on several computers, then install the program on each).
  2. Install lolMiner. To do this, extract the program from the .zip archive and open the .bat file using a text editor. In the program folder, you need to create or edit a file with the .bat extension. You can use Notepad or Notepad ++ for this. When saving the file, select “All files” as the file type, not the “txt” format. Note that if the file is .bat.txt, the program will not be able to open the file.
  3. Run the following command in the file: “lolMiner.exe –algo ETCHASH –pool pool.woolypooly.com:35000 –user ETC_WALLET_ADDRESS.WORKER_NAME –dualmode KASPADUAL –dualpool pool.woolypooly.com:3112 –dualuser KASPA_WALLET_ADDRESS.WORKER_NAME”.
  4. Configure the program for your wallet. In the above command ETC_WALLET_ADDRESS – you need to enter the address of YOUR wallet or the pool login (if the pool has registration) – WORKER_NAME. This way you will explain to the miner where exactly the coins should be sent.
  5. Run the program. You need to double-click on your .bat file to run the program. lolMiner will start working, execute the setx command to set the environment variables, initialize each video card, create a DAG file for each GPU, and then start hashing. If everything is done correctly in the previous steps, the miner will start working correctly.
