APMinerTool is a program for monitoring the operation of a mining farm. With this tool, you can simultaneously scan several IP segments of a local network, and monitor the operation of an ASIC in batch mode. The program supports settings for alerts, IP address ranges, firmware, and many options useful for a miner.
APMinerTool program functionality
The main features of the program include the following:
- Simultaneous scanning of several miners of an IP segment in a local network.
- Firmware update.
- Carrying out the mass configuration of devices.
- Batch monitoring of ASIC operation and restart.
All this is presented in the form of a clear and simple interface.
How to start working with APMinerTool: a step-by-step guide
To start using the program for monitoring a mining farm, you need to perform a few simple steps:
- Download. You need to download the program from a trusted source and unzip the file into a suitable folder on your PC. Double-click on the APMinerTool.exe file to open the program.
- Launch the IP scanner. The first step in working with the APMinerTool program is to find the IP of your ASIC. This step can be done using this tool or using the simpler IP Reporter program. You need to click on the “Start Scan” button, and then press and hold the “IP report” button on all ASICs separately for 3 to 5 seconds. This will allow you to add devices. After connecting the device to the network and power source, the IP (obtained when setting up the device) will be in DHCP mode, while the IP address is not fixed. If there are several devices, then you can set fixed IP addresses for them in batch mode to easily manage them all. The scan will take about 30 seconds. Once complete, a corresponding notification will appear on the screen. The APMinerTool program will show the detected data. Then you need to enter the static IP address in the “next fill IP” line that you want to set for the miner.
- Configure the APMinerTool program. To do this, in the “Pool Configuration” section, in batch mode, specify the pool address and password. In the “Worker” line, select the worker name (enter any). On the right, there is a field where you need to select the coin being mined.
After that, the user will be shown a list of available devices. Please note that the user can also view which devices have stopped working due to high temperatures.
What to do if the APMinerTool program does not work
To solve the problem, use the instructions in 5 simple steps:
- Make sure that the Internet connection is stable.
- Check the settings of the router or switch, and reset them.
- Make sure that the miner’s network is configured correctly and check for IP address conflicts.
- Restart the miner.
- Reset the control board to factory settings.
In general, if the program was downloaded from a trusted source and configured correctly, then there should be no problems with its operation.
