VBE7 is a program that provides access to advanced video card settings. With its help, the user can change the video BIOS of AMD Radeon video cards to configure various parameters (memory timings, clock speed, voltage). This tool is also useful for overclocking memory and the GPU.

Cautions before using VBE7

Before you start making changes to the equipment using VBE7, you should consider several important points:

  • Be sure to make a backup copy of the original BIOS. This will allow you to return to the original settings if something goes wrong.
  • Do not adjust the equipment settings at random. The changes made will affect only the tired BIOS. After all changes are saved, the UEFI image is disabled (if you have UEFI vBIOS).

Also, crossfire users should pay attention to the fact that it is strongly recommended to disable ULPS before flashing the BIOS.

How to use VBE7 correctly

You should download the program only from reliable sources where there is no risk of downloading an infected file. After installation, you need to perform a few simple steps to work with VBE7:

  • Save your original BIOS. For this, you can use GPU-Z so that you always have a backup copy to return to the original operating parameters.
  • Open the BIOS file you want to change using the VBE7 program.
  • Make the necessary settings in the selected file.
  • Save the changes.

After this, you need to flash the edited VBE7 using atiflash or atiwinflash. Then reboot the computer.
